Image Cropper

Crop an image by dragging a selection box right on the preview, with aspect-ratio presets and a live size readout — or type exact pixel values. It's free, needs no signup, and runs entirely in your browser so your image is never uploaded.

How to crop an image

  1. Add an image to load it into the cropper.
  2. Drag the selection box and its corner handles, or pick an aspect ratio.
  3. Fine-tune the exact pixels with the inputs if you like.
  4. Click Crop image and download the result.

Private by design

Cropping runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your image is processed 100% on your device and is never uploaded to a server, so even sensitive photos stay private. There are no accounts, no watermarks and no per-day limits.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the crop area?
Drag the box on the preview to move it and drag the corner handles to resize. You can also lock an aspect ratio (1:1, 16:9, 4:3 or the image's original) or type exact pixel values — everything stays in sync.
What if my numbers go outside the image?
The selection is always clamped to the image bounds, and the Crop button stays disabled until the rectangle fits fully inside the image.
Does cropping change the image quality?
Cropping keeps the original pixels in the kept region. JPG and WebP outputs are re-encoded at high quality; PNG stays lossless.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. Cropping happens in your browser and the image never leaves your device.
