Frequently asked questions
Does rotating by 90° change the dimensions?
Yes. Rotating 90° clockwise or counter-clockwise swaps the width and height (for example 447×632 becomes 632×447). The output size is shown before you apply the change.
Will rotating make the file bigger?
No. Rotation re-encodes in the same format and we keep the output no larger than your original — if a high-quality re-encode would grow it, we lower the quality slightly so it stays at or below the input size.
Can I rotate and flip at the same time?
Yes. Choose a rotation direction and toggle horizontal and/or vertical flip together; the preview shows the combined result.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, so the image stays on your device.
